Deckert Holmes
Allan Holmes and Frank Deckert didn’t grow up in Los Angeles—nope, they’re from the other LA: Lower Alabama. They met in high school TV crew class, bonding over shaky camera work and bad PSA edits. Two decades later, they reunited, not to film anything, but to invent things. Big things. Functional things. Weird things.
Their first hit? Juicy Toots, a butt plug that doubled as an air freshener. Yes, it was exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, but it somehow went viral, making Lower Alabama dive bars smell 10% better (per Earl’s very unofficial data). But they weren’t content just freshening butts—they wanted to light up lives.
Then, on a trip to Florida, Allan found a 100-year-old drying rack. It was beautiful, rustic, and utterly useless without proper lighting. That’s when inspiration struck: Why not combine a mid-century wall lamp with a drying rack? Boom—The Hanger Lamp was born.
After Christmas spent 3D printing, too much bourbon, and many late-night debates about brass finishes, they built the first prototype. It’s sleek. It’s functional. It’s perfect for people who love good design and hate piles of clothes. The Hanger Lamp: for your home, your wardrobe, and your inner mid-century nerd.
Stay tuned. This one’s going viral too. (Probably.)
